Ayurvedic Yoga Retreat

Discover how the principles of Ayurveda can be effectively applied to yoga practice. Both Ayurveda and yoga are ancient sciences that heal at a deep level. Ayurveda uses the five elements of ether, air, fire, water and earth to create balance both in the natural world and within the body and mind.
Learn about the three doshas to understand your own constitution, as well to bring yourself to equilibrium. Discover how traditional Hatha Yoga practices, such as asana and pranayama, connect with Ayurvedic practices.
Explore other practices such as mantra recitation, kirtan, and meditation to help bring balance to your well being. Beginners with no prior experience in yoga and Ayurveda are welcome, as well as more experienced practitioners.
Krishna and Aiyana will teach four afternoon workshops. Retreat participants may also participate in all the daily ashram offerings including Satsang, Asana classes and other events.
